Spent weeks searching for a camp site (tent pitch with electric) in an area max of 3 hours drive from Calais as we are only require to book for 4 nights. Prefer near Beach but inland with river would be fine too. Daughter and Partner coming too so we have 2 vehicles but sharing tent. Beach etc is for their benefit! Once they leave us we will just drive and stop as the fancy takes us - did that for 4 weeks last year and had a great time found some wonderful sites during our 2500 mile trek. Some of them we will be visiting again this year.

Hi we stayed here last week: www.fermedesaulnes.com - it's about an hour south of Calais. In countryside but about 15-20 mins to nearest beach. It was a lovely site and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We had hook up also.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
