Hi, Having had our first trip this year to France very successfully with 4 grumpy children. Next year we would like to take a trip to northern Spain. Can anyone recommend a website to help the search for a campsite with pool thats not too big and within 100miles of santandair? Any hints or tips greatfully recieved!!

a friend at work went to a campsite in northern Spain last month, they had a brillant time, right on the beach which she said was a beauty. Think it was called Playa joel in a place called Noja. Its is in eurocamp/ keycamp brochures too. They did the P&O crossing and said it was only a 50 mile drive to site. They have kids too and they loved it. Hope this helps. We are saving our tesco club card points up for a trip to Northern Spain next year with P&O
The camp site at Noja is called Playa Joyel it is right on the beach it is quite a large site but has good write ups. Noja is a small town which is perched on the cliff top above the beach. There are two bays there and even in the height of summer they were not too crowded the breakers were great too. There is one bar near the beach and the rest of the amenities are in the town. Although the site does have its own facilties. We stayed at Camping Santillana in Santilla which is about just over an hours drive from Santander. The site had a shop, restaurant, bar and activities and a swimming pool. It was walking distance to the town with other facilities although a bit touristy.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
