Think we might apply for a nationwide before we go to Rhodes next year,will save on the travellers cheques.

You need a Nationwide flex account, and you can do all your banking on line with them, like their adverts say - they give an excellent service. Travellers' cheques are a thing of the past, certainly outside the US, and far more trouble than they are worth.

"Liverpool and Victoria credit card for Euros" don't you have to pay interest on this type of transaction, ? I usually use the village PO, help keep them in business.

I use nationwide and also get a better exchange rate than with other cards for transactions on the same day
