We would be grateful if anyone could give us any info & advise on campsites up to 2 hrs drive from Santander, hopefully going at easter.Thanks.

Playa Joel is an excellent choice, we were there in 2005 for a couple of weeks ans I would recommend it.

It's a large site, but I don't think it will be too busy at Easter. Direct access onto a great beach, and the town of Noja is easily reached by a 5 minute walk. It has very nice bars & places to sample real spanish food, at reasonable prices.

I think the drive from Santander should only be about an hour.
