Hi

We went to Sol a GoGo last year - when the world cup was on - great atmosphere.

When they say direct access to the beach they mean it - just go through a gate and you're on the beach.

The facilities are good but - depending on what your teenagers like - might be a bit limited for you. It has a nice pool, bar, and games room but not a lot else.

If they have bikes then it is only a 5 minute cycle into the main (more lively) area.

St Jan de Monts is about 20 to 30 minute cycle away and there is plenty to do there.

If you're taking your own tent/van the pitches are a bit on the smaller size and quite sandy - but I wouldn't hestitate to go there again.

All the pitches are separated by hedges, bushes, fences etc - it largely depends on which pitch you get. Some of them are enormous 120m+ others are half the size.

The size also varies quite a lot - it depends on your van to be honest - mine's a 7.5m unit and it was a bit of struggle on my pitch - but then you have 2 teenagers to help manhandle your van - I've got a (self confessed) weakling of a wife and a 4 & 11 year old girls - so most of the physical moving is yours truly.....

Please see the link below - haven't done a review yet I'm afraid
