has anyone out there been to benicarlo in spain particular to camping alegria we reas on this forum about someone else who has been there but cant seem to get any other feedback.we were specifically wanting to know about pitch sizes and the local area how far from the nearest town etc etc,

This is a small site so pitches are small when it is busy. When are you going? It is possible to walk or cycle on the sea front into Benicarlo. Plenty of other towns to visit, English owners,cosy bar,good walking area.Hope this helps.
thanks for that chrissy we are going for 4 weeks end july/into august.had email from lisa at the site saying pitches are 90m so these should be ok.she also says ther will be room for gazebo and we have requested pitch near to beach.is there any bars ,supermarkets etc.local to the site and how long is the walk into benicarlo.
