Hi

Last year we had our first overseas camping in the Loire at Kathy and Dave's campsite it was great. We are now looking for something similair this year in the Loire or Brittany. Looking for a very small campsite for tents, good showers and loos but no other facilities required, really just looking for somewhere lovely and calm to hang out with my hubby and get away from the stresses of London Town! Would be nice if close to a quiet beach and in the country but anything considered, interested in your experiences - what is your favourite campsite in this area?

thanks

Kim

you could try La Pointe Superbe near Chateaulin - Finisterre, excellent toilet block, lots of room for tents, and picnic tables; http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=5185           I notice there is no review but we stayed here a couple of years ago and had a great time wandering around and walking into Chateaulin along the river/canal.

Yes noticed that. We did think about going there last year, and it is actually very close to the area we went to last year.  Think we will either go to another area in the Loire or brittany
