My wife and I are fortunate to be going to Stu & Sybs site this July,
We found Le Chant by searching this site in November last year and have been counting the days and wishing away the chilly evenings by re-looking at Le Chants website and looking at pictures of the surrounding area on the internet.
I have just found some more pictures that Stu has posted on the public photo site www.flickr.com . 31 pictures in all including some really nice shots of their site in winter covered in snow. (and his dog 'Bramble' covered in snow).
As these have been put on a public site for anyone to view (should they wish to search for them) I am sure Stu wont mind me mentioning them here.
I dont know how to add a link - but go onto www.flickr.com and click on 'PEOPLE' then enter Le Chant in the search box.
Happy dreaming.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
So Stu - is La Butte part of the property? Oh and all our sympathies on the ghastly view out of your office window - you should see my wonderful view of the High school inner playground - from below! As those above have emoted - we can't wait to see it all for ourselves - just wish we were staying longer..... Like, wheel on retirement.....
I'd forgotten I'd put them there. They're really there for various postings I've made, but I don't mind anyone having a look. If it helps anyone to get a feel of our place & the surrounding area, I'll put some more up?
Thanks for the comments so far, it's nice to know this place is well-supported by you all, and we're really looking forward to seeing new faces as well as welcoming some old ones back here this season. Bring it on!

Hi PP. No, La Butte is a property I look after on the very edge of the village. The owners have this year tidied up the lake and installed around 20k's worth of fish, including some massive carp up to 35lb! They're going to have a house built at the point where I took the pics and let it out. I've been given permission to fish it when I want, and to take paying guests there too!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
