we went to piano di clodia in august 4 years ago and really enjoyed it, the main entrance is higher than the lake so the campsite is in tiers, but the pitches are flat. when you arrive they show you round the site on a golf cart so you can choose your pitch. there,s a restaurant above the buffet bar and both are good value, we expected them to be really dear but were surprised. if you like water parks and theme parks, a short walk from the main entrance is the water park and a short bus ride is gardaland theme park, you can buy bus tickets from the reception.

Thanks for your reply. We tried to book Piani di Clodia 2 weeks ago but it is already fully booked for the whole of July and August so we will have to rethink.
