We have been there several times always stayed in mobile homes though.

Whether you like it or not depends  what you are looking for. It's large and entirely english occupied. It is very clean and well run with lovely grounds to walk around and you can walk along the river to the nice town which has great bars and restaurants. It is also good for visiting Paris. The pool area is huge and good fun. Although it is a large and busy site it is still quiet with a countryside feel, we usually like very quiet sites but we enjoy this one because of the nice grounds and great fishing to keep my son happy, I don't think I would go in the Summer for our main hols though 'cos we prefer more 'French' sites (hope that makes sense)

Hi. We stayed there in September 2005 - it was great for us - we had a toddler and there was plenty to occupy her - swimming pool, mini beach, trampolines etc. My husband enjoyed the on site fishing too. I agree with the comment about it being a very British site but that wasn't a problem to us although you do sometimes like to get away from home. We stayed in a Eurocamp caravan which was a good standard. Hope this helps.

Lots of people like it. I didn't much, I think you can do a lot better almost anywhere in France - certainly somewhere more French. To my way of thinking it's a bit like Brean Sands .. but hey! One man's meat etc etc....

You can read all the reviews (including mine) here

We have done Whit week twice in statics (Keycamp and Eurocamp I think)

Great for a quick trip to France, nicely situated, the only downside really is that it is not very "French", but leave the site and you can walk into the town easily, there is plenty in the surrounding area of interest, two bigger towns Compiegne and Soissons to explore ( and their hypermarkets). WW1 & 2 history is all around, and you can walk to some old British fortifications from the site. Take a torch.

Went ther last year on the last week of their season. Pool was dirty but other wise the site was OK. Very English Paris and Disney near by. I am sure that beginning of season the site will have been spruced up.

We stayed on this site last summer, in week 3 of the school holidays.  It was very busy, and we were given a ptich in the 'parc' area of the site.  We managed to squeeze our caravan onto the allocated pitch, and over the next few days various tents appeared on every bit of spare grass around us.

There is plenty to do for kids, our two loved the pool and boating lake.  It is possible to walk/ride into the village, not much there though.

But overall I enjoyed our stay, and would go back in the future.  However next time I would refuse a pitch if I did not like it; we found out later that people were doing this and were then shown other better ptiches instead.

Don't pitch near the river if you can't stand frog noise.

Thanks for all the replies.

We are to use it as a base for Paris and surrounding area.

Hopefuly it will be quieter early season.

My daughter fancies the pool. Our main summer holiday will be spent further south on sites a lot smaller.

Andrew

PS  Whats the size of the pitches?
