Have you tried the Camping Cheque website - (http://www.campingcheque.co.uk/en/) look under 'Our campsites' then select Switzerland, click to activate the search - each dot on the map is a campsite, if you double click on the dot you can check the facilities available at that site. Don't know whether you're familiar with Camping Cheque but one cheque (£10.30 approx) pays for one night pitch for two people, electricity, caravan, or motorhome, awning and one dog. Each site accepts cheque in the low season (June should be fine) so it makes it a very reasonable way of holidaying. Just a quick look shows a site near Bern, but I'm not sure exactly where Basle is - and it's not on the map. The site shown near Bern takes Camping Cheques up to 5 July (this year, but I imagine next year will be the same. The website also describes how the CCs work and how to order them (you can use them the following year - and shouldn't need to book your site in advance). Hope this helps.
