Well, ive been on the camping pages for many years, then moved to to a folding camper, then a folding caravan, now here I am moving onto the caravan page!

We are in the process of buying our first 'full' caravan, a 2019 Coachman Pastiche 460. We love our Gobur and will still be keeping that for our touring trips and our new van will be going on a store and stay not too far away so we can do more weekends.

We'll hopefully be all sorted by the end of October so hoping to get some winter caravanning in.

Just to say i won't be towing this van, we'll be getting it delivered to the site. Ive happily towed Wobbly Bob, our folding caravan, but dont want to tow a full sized caravan. Basically we'll get the best of both worlds.

We're very excited, any advice appreciated ??

I tow a coachman 460 don’t worry it’s fine my OH has macular so unable to drive any more . I’ve been towing for many years now and am happy to carry on . I am more concerned what other drivers think when they see an old lady towing a caravan . I would like to do a towing course just to make sure what I’m doing is acceptable. But if they say it’s not then I would lose confidence.

Im very happy towing our Gobur but dont feel the same about potentially towing the Coachman. More than happy to pay to stay and store on a lovely site and know we can just turn up and its there!

It sounds like youre doing great without a course - age is just a number!
