Hi Steve, we had a 550/4 and on the whole it was a great van but there were a couple of things that we didn't get on with.

The single beds are quite high so you can store a lot of stuff under them but if you are not particularly tall it can be a bit of a stretch to get in and out of bed. We also found the beds a bit narrow and rather hard.

Our van didn't have a partition that closed off the rear section so if you wanted to get changed during the day you had to pull all the front blinds to get some privacy. The concertina blind is available as an extra (I bought one but didn't get around to fitting it, now for sale in the advert section) but it doesn't fit the latest (white bodied) version of the Pursuit.

Our van was a dealer special (Platinum Edition) and came with ATC, solar panel, Alko wheel lock, outside 240v socket etc which made it a lot more useful than the standard spec.

Are you looking at a 2016 model at a well known dealer in South Wales?

Hope this helps, if you want to know any other details let me know.

Rob

Where to start?
1. First there is the leaky roof join.
2. The front window where the outer pane rubs against the inner whilst travelling and marks the inner sides of the window.
3. The GRP lining round the front window which is not fastened to anything, and ripples and bubbles, and will eventually craze.
4. Lousy silicon round all the roof lights and the aerial.
5. The trim on the edge of the cupboard doors which comes loose after a couple of years
6. The bed frame which is not strong enough and sags in the middle.

I could go on...

The above points made by freestlast are valid points but some like the sealant around the skylights you get with the majority of manufacturers, but there half tidy basic vans. It’s like all makes it’s complete pot luck.

The roof sealant round the skylights is a thousand times better on my new Elddis, thankfully.
