Looking to buy a fixed bed caravan. Not had a caravan for 8 years so a bit out of touch.
I have seen a few Elddis Affinity 540 Caravan 2013/2014 for around 13-15k are they any good?
Or what should we go for?
Budget of around 15k

Are you buying from a dealer? If so what warranty are they offering? I bought my Swift when it was 2 years old and it came with a 12 month warranty from the dealer and the usual Swift damp warranty.

We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

I have seen one private but wonder if I’m better going through a dealer to get some sort of warranty.

For another grand you could by a brand new Adria with a fixed end bed, an end bed allows you both to go to the loo without disturbing the other. We had a fixed side transverse bed and the wife always wakes me up as she passes the end of our bed.

Thank you. We purchased a Bailey Unicorn Valencia 2015.
It has the large fixed bed on the side. I was not keen on the transverse outlays. Looking forward to getting out in it soon!
