Hello. We have just returned from our 1st trip in our 2006 Elddis Sunseeker 505. Loving the caravan! Now need a decent awning for the kids/dogs/gear/evenings, etc! Looking at the Vango Kelari 420. Anyone fitted this to an Elddis 505 or similar? Does anyone have one? Recommended? We also liked the Kampa Pro Air 500...
Any thoughts very welcome for a newbie!! Cheers

bought a 420 vango air beam back in 2014,first time out the box i was over the moon with it, next time out had issues with it deflating, then the air bags were twisting inside the beam, went back to the dealer and changed it for a 390 dorema porch awning with poles, the air beam was a waste of money

We’ve had a kampa rally ace air 500 and now have a Vango Varkala 360. Both are good awnings and we’ve never had issues with air beams even on our first air which was a Dorema.

The kampa is easier to put up being one inflation point and lends itself well to an electric pump. Downsides for us were the white curtains, waste of time and get dirty quickly. The storm straps are permanently attached so are in the way when you don’t need them which for us is most of the time. Vango do a 520 Kalari too which is more comparable to the Ace air 500

Prefer the vango although more of a pain inflating each airbeam separately however we believe this system might last longer as less to go wrong. Prefer zip blinds too and the shape gives better headroom too.

Vango now do the Valkara connect. This is a modular awning you can add to. I wish we had waited as we only bought out Valkara 420 last year.

Love the Valkara 420 we have easy to put up. Only used a couple of times so can't really confirm durability . http://www.vango.co.uk/gb/search?controller=search&orderby=position&orderway=desc&........connect
