I expect it's 24mm if 22 is too small. Can you measure one with calipers to check?

If you could add your location to your profile you may find somebody who could pop round and try a socket or measure up for you. It's always difficult to suggest somebody who could help if we don't know where you are.

Is it the same size as your corner steadies? If so can you use the winder or tell what the size is by comparing?

As pointed out measure nut across the flats with calipers or just a ruler. Whatever size it is go for a half inch drive impact socket used with a 2foot breaker bar. That will undo anything & tighten them safely. You can use your judgement for wheel nuts. I've never found the need for a torque wrench.
