so we have been here before from time to time from camping in a tent and then a folding camper but we now find ourselves back here having brought a caravan, cant remember our old user name so had to re-register, we have brought a 1991 compass rallye 400/2 gt for the age and price its in very good condition and we cant wait to get away in in for the oct half term, we are likely to have a lot of questions during our first week about how things work although i think we have sussed most of it out

We are indeed. Just requested to join. Other than our van being older, our set up will look similar as we also have a porch awning and will be taking the bikes with us. Although van is 2 birth there is 3 of us. Me, Paul, wife Lou and our 7 year old daughter.

Also use a full awning for longer stays and take the grandchildren with us, they sleep in a pop up inner tent, would also fit a porch awning.

For more cheaper caravan outings and also longer stays we use the C&CC temporary holiday sites, in some good locations around the country and run from 1 - 8 weeks. Off EHU so you would need a solar panel to keep the battery charged up, mine is a folding 150w which puts out 8 amps in full sun.
