Hi all,

We have a pyramid Corsican awning. Due to very heavy rain, water pooled on top and it collapsed. (We were not with it and could not get back in time).

The frames centre junction piece is damaged beyond repair, and pyramid awninga donâ€™t trade anymore by the looks. I have looked on eBay but no joy.

Can anyone help?

Try other brands that are similar in design. Caravan dealers very often have awning poles, have a look as they may have a generic pole that will fit.

Thanks for the quick reply, but it’s going to be tricky. It’s an articulated piece which 4 poles connect to, its not just a mater of finding a similar length/width pole sadly. That said it might be possible to use another brand. Does anyone know what brands use a similar construction?

I suspect that most brands don't manufacture their own poles (or canvasses.) I suspect they buy them in from a third party, so the chances are another brand will use the same ones.
I would take a photo of the broken pole - some close-upos etc - and email it to some caravan/awning dealers. You never know....
