My last caravan was a 1988 Elddis Tornado XL, and it had a similar problem with the water inlet, so I fitted a Truma Ultraflow Compact Water Inlet Kit- Ivory – 46030-04, bought from ebay. I made a simple backing plate from perspex to cover and seal the old hole. It worked well, and was still on the caravan when I sold it recently.
There are also many caravan breakers around, and plenty of spares both new and second-hand.
------------- Best Regards,
Colin
