I have a 2007 Bailey Pageant Series 6 Burgundy. The caravan is usually in storage in France, but the next trip will probably involve towing. On testing with the tow car the single high-level brake light works, but the two stop/tail lights only work as tail lights. I could not see any fuses in the caravan.
First thing to check is your car socket. If that is ok then next check is caravan plug. Take it apart & check for poor connections. It may be corroded inside. Strip wires back & fit new 7 pin 12n plug.
If the centre high level brake light is working then the other brake lights should work so first thing I would do is check the bulbs haven't blown or poor connections.
Thanks for that. I forgot to mention that I have a 13 pin socket, with an approved adaptor to 12N and 12S. I was wondering why the high level light is fine, and both lower level lights do not work.
Thanks
As said in previous post by Malkeiron there's nothing wrong with the power coming from the car or a fuse. It's either a failed lamp, dirty connection or what is quite common in those light clusters is the black clip that holds the lamp in becomes loose and the lamp doesn't work properly then.
