just picked up our new caravan (2012 Adria Adora 612DT) and the waste pipes are hidden from view by a nice looking trim.

BUT the same piece of trim makes fitting the waste pipes a total nightmare as they have to go on with a very sharp bend.

Anyone else got this issue and found a way to make it easier?

Any possibility of fitting the elbows/bends permanently, so you can then attach the waste pipes easier from there onwards? There has to be a practical way around it. A couple of waste elbows and some polypipe glue....how hard can it be?

Only issue with this is you then loose the ability to plug the end with the fitted caps.

Was wondering if I cut a slant in the end of the pipes would they still seal?

NO....slanting the end makes them oval in shape so they wont fit in the round hole.

Was wondering (will look ugly) cutting out either two holes or 1 slot to fit pipes in easily......

not sure they would BUT was thinking about making a short length of 2" with a solid bung in it and as you say permanently mount the 90 bends and joiners so I just have one short length to put in after pulling out my bung.

Hi, we have the same caravan model but the Fleetwood badged one, we also have the same problem with the waste pipes popping off all the time, i have recently come across a you tube clip of someone with the exactly the same caravan and problem, they made plumbing to fit, watch here for info

Why not mount the outlets on a block of wood to lower to clear the body so you have a straight and easy to use

yep lower them is one solution.

I have mounted the pipes permanently and use a bung in the end which I can pull out and replace with a short down pipe.

Sorted and now only one connection to do. BONUS>
