Has anyone seen one of these caravans in a showroom or at a show? I like the layout and we ordered the Swift Conqueror 650 back in July 2016 for 2017 but the delivery dates are so long we are considering changing our minds which our dealer will allow. They have one of these due in soon and its a considerable amount cheaper and lacks some of the kit on the Swifts but weve not seen one? Is it worth waiting for the Swift higher end model or saving ourselves nearly 8k and going for this model? Any feedback appreciated good or bad.
Thank you iv just Googled it and it's 165 miles away from us here in Bolton it's a bit too far to go which is a shame. We're going to the Manchester show so there may be one there. We don't mind a ride out but that's a bit too far.
Iv emailed a dealer in Cheshire and glossop caravans, we're not buying it as we've already placed an order with our dealers but they haven't got any in yet they told us we can change our order if we want it's just a case of looking at one I don't want to do anything til we've seen it as it might not be what we want.
Thanks. I hadn't checked on there I didn't realise you could search their stock. Iv found 3 dealers that have both models in that were considering so that's perfect for us to compare them together. Looks like we might be having a ride out Sat to look?

Yes with Swift from about last September you can go on to see who has specific 2017 models on display as they manufacture the next years models from end of August, after their annual shut down and start shipping to dealers.
We've been waiting since end of July as we placed an order for a swift conqueror650 abd they told us oct/Nov delivery then changed it to Jan but we hadn't seen it as it hadn't come out and when I looked I wasn't keen on the interior of it so we went for the Elegance 650 which is longer delivery date of April/May but iv since seen this model and like the bedroom layout but haven't seen one, our dealers have one due in soon so we can change to this model if we like it.
Good luck with you viewing ,I know when you are waiting for a delivery date it seems to take forever.We have dealt with our dealer for nearly 40 years and we always buy their specials.Buying a special we normally have it in less than a week as dealer pre orders them so they have a ready stock.
Thanks iv Googled catterick caravans and it's 112 mls away it shows 65mls on swifts website so we might not go tomorrow we will see how we feel? It's a big decision so probably worth the trip out.
We went to see the Sterling Eccles 635 today at catterick caravans. We liked the layout of the island bed on offside wall with middle bathroom, but, this van is only suitable for 2 people for the following reason:- The 2 front seats are small for a twin axle, the lounge space is compromised for a bigger bedroom as is the bathroom too, it felt very cramped walking into the bedroom with the shower sticking out so much, very narrow slim fridge with a tiny box freezer inside, a lot lower spec than the Swift Conqueror/elegance models no ATC! the £6500 price difference is evident when comparing the models side by side. We are sticking with our choice of Elegance 650 and Thank you for your help as usual on this forum.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
