Hello all, just wondered as I have no experience on anything connected with caravaning if there is anyone that has a link to handbooks for Elddis alfresco 510/5 1997/8 please as we have now got one and I have no idea how to connect anything up etc. Many thanks in advance

Thank you Greg, will carry on looking around have found something on eBay but they want a fair bit of money for it. I think I would prefer to go away for the night and learn or write my own book haha. Cheers again Greg

Nothing make/model specific, but you might find some of the Camping and Caravanning Club's New to Caravans pages useful, also The Caravan Manual (doesn't have to be the latest edition and will probably be obtainable from your local library, if you're fortunate enough to still have a local library! )
Any questions about individual appliances (most are/were used across several different caravan manufacturers' ranges) ask on here and someone will probably be able to help.
Thank you Hacksaw Bob, that is worth noting. Yes we still have local Libraries so will have a gander for them and anything else which may look interesting . Cheers again

Rather than searching on Elddis, search on the piece of kit you want to know about. Quite apart from forum knowledge, there are loads of equipment manuals online in pdf form. Download and save them all on a memory stick for use with a laptop. You can finish up with quite a stack of heavy and bulky manuals, when you include all the various accessory ones as well. I realised this when I checked and found mine came to just over 4 kg no less!
Thank you for the advice chrisn7 I have done some homework and have got some of the info I wanted. Retired john, cheers if I need any other bits I will contact them.
Thanks all for the help and advice I always knew I would get the best advice here. Now just got to sort out putting the awning up with no idea how. That should give the others on site a giggle. Onwards and upwards I shall code the poles as we find out how they go together though. Cheers all

Once you figure out how to assemble the frame wrap some coloured electrical tape round the frame ends where the joins are made - then you won't have to remember next time!
