Is there an easy way?

There is a plate on the side of the van with numbers on it that look like serial numbers.

It's not important really, guess I am just nosey

the age of your caravan are stamped on your tow hitch if you look at the chassis somewhere around that area you should be able to see some numbers and letters etched into the metal ie 1980 ,1995. whatever the year of your caravan was made hope this helps shylos

how to identify year model,a plate outside the door gives weights plus serial number.on 1986 /1987 models the year is the serial number,otherwise phone ABI on

says others worth looking at are.500CT/380/2 / 400CT /AND 450S.

Post-1992 all new caravans were registered with CRIS and had unique registration numbers according to the sme convention. This website tells you more http://www.how2caravan.com/how-to-decipher-a-caravan-vin-number/

Prior to 1992 it was common practice to refer to the year by a 2-digit number (e.g. 85 for 1985) but no industry standard as to where this was hidden in the chassis number. Could yours be 1976 or 1981? Can you post a photo?
