Somewhere along the line the wheel spat for my swift Charisma has... well fallen off!
I spending the first day of my break phoning and searching the internet to get a replacement.
Anyone got any ideas, I don't mind if its not genuine Swift part.

Hi Acornis,
Not sure if this link will help, they do mail order.
Best wishes,
Greg
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Rang the breakers in the link, sent him a couple of photos but he emailed back, no luck. rang the guy at Replacement panels, again they were trying to be helpful but again no luck. the second guy said that 2009 was a bit new and he seldom see's this model. that must a good thing? but not useful to me.
This made check one of sites that is run by Swift and Iam sure I read that they continue to offer parts on vans up to 8 years old, and I have manged to get a reply from a Swift agent offering one at £190.
Have emailed the company at EECO, but will follow up with a call tomorrow.

Ouch,£190
Sorry they didn't turn up trumps ,not sure how far you have travelled but I would be tempted to keep an eye out for it on the return.
A thought occurred to me after my initial post ,would it be worth checking with a neighbour to see if it is on your drive or in the street?.
Just a thought .
Regards,
Greg
Hi Greg funny enough I did have a quick check on the security camera but couldn't see it. Coincidentally I had the van home before we left so the camera was on the van. the last thing I did after hooking up was disconnect the motor mover and it was there then. We are about 300 miles from home but did stop half way so only about 150 miles of route to look out for it. Old eagle eyes will spot it I bet.
Belfast? no Berwick.

EECO would need the spat to use as a guide and then if they have to make a mould there would be £200 tooling up charge.
The £190 is looking good or maybe I'll strike lucky on the way home.

Well back from my travels to the borders and need to sort out the missing wheel spat.
A fruitless attempt at sourcing one from either a breakers or specialist moulders has led my back to the dealerships. Thankfully Swift continue to provide spares for this age and model.
Dealership No 1 wanted £190 for one, but this did include postage. Dealership No 2, local to me, £170 with £65 per hour to fit. Dealership No 3 a bit further away, just about the same price bar 30p, and will fit for £54 per hour. Both have said they expect it to done in an hour. Is this the hourly rate these days, I don’t believe it. I ’am prepared to fit it myself but OH says don’t be tight and get them to fit it. If she calls be Victor once more…

Cheers
Had a look, The one I need is distinctive by a groove across the length of the spat. Not a bad price though, could buy 2 and change the pair. mmm
