Hi
Just purchase an elderly "Wayfarer" and I cant fathom out which way the valves should be turned to turn gas on or off on water heater, cooker is sorted. Water heater has two valves one is a single in and out other is a T with three connections (might also be something to do with space heater as i havent touched this yet)and this is what is confusing me. Any simple answers please?? which way to turn T switch

Usually gas taps are turned on when the handle is in line with the pipe.

On when in line with the pipe gong to the device. Some are Tees so 3 pipes. The leg of the tee would be on.
