Just back from a 2 week break and so yesterday was clean the caravan day.
It was covered in tar spots and they don't half take some shifting.
My car worshipping neighbour was out on the front with the kids and so I asked him if he knew of anything which would get them off.
He brought out a litre bottle of some stuff called Tardis Tar and glue remover by Auto Clean.
Wipe on, wait a minute and then wipe it off with a damp cloth talk about easy peasy lemon squeezy! Afterwards good idea to give it a thorough rinse with the hose as the stuff smells quite strong.
Needless to say I've ordered a bottle off t'internet for the princely sum of £6.95.
Its great stuff made my autosmart, buy direct from their mobile showrooms (lorry). Though you will need to buy 5L as its a trade product. ebay stuff is sold by entrepreneurs.
Don't let it near your mastic seals! It will remove them just like tar. Just use on a cloth.
The advantage of using Tardis is that it can be washed off with water and doesn't leave any nasty residue. Then polish.
