Although not essential can I encourage other members to give there location, as sometimes it's easier to give help, advice and maybe meet up and offer hands on help too.

I agree as recently there was a newbie searching for a specific caravan but the ones for sale were too far away from the location where they lived. Asking for help on this forum in finding something nearer was anyone's guess where they lived as their profile was absent of any clue. I replied with reference to state their location and what radius they were willing to travel but they failed to complete to which there was little response to their request.
The fact is that some people must think we are all mind readers.
I too agree. There is no need to be too specific, just Essex, Glasgow, Cardiff, or Cornwall (or similar) will do. You never know, the person you are trying to help, or who is trying to help you, might live just up the road, or at the other end of the country.
Not much good saying to someone "have you tried XYZ caravans" when they live 400 miles away!
