Has anyone else had this?

We bought our Cadiz brand new in November.

Today I took the van back to the dealers to have a couple of faults rectified including an ill fitting entrance door.

When I arrived back at our storage site I found to my horror that there was a crack in the sidewall of the van to the upper left of the door about 7 or 8 inches long
Obviously I will be back in touch with the dealer first thing tomorrow, but wondered if anyone else had experienced this?

I spoke to the dealer on the phone today and sent them photos of the damage.

The manager suggested that the caravan had 'snaked' on the way back to the storage site and that this had caused the damage

No such thing happened. Fortunately I have dash cam footage of the journey to prove it.

I said in no uncertain terms that I was unhappy (understatement of the year) and wanted another van to use (similar model) so that we did not miss holidays.

They are reporting it to Bailey and are supposed to be updating me tomorrow

XVI yes?

As well is two words!

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Worrying as We pick up our new Pursuit 550-4 on Monday and the body shell is the same construction.

Sorry in advance as I know this takes things slightly off topic, but I laugh when I saw that the dealer tried to blame you!!! We had a similar thing happen with our Bailey Orion, the front window was "smeared" inside the panes due to them rubbing together. The dealer at 1st suggested that I might be towing with the wrong type of car and their 2nd suggestion was that I could be towing at more than 60mph- obviously nothing to do with poor materials or bad design!!!
