Evening all,
Sorry to ask as similar to another post oh here but, we do not drink from our taps but use bottled water for kettle and drinks.
However we wash teeth and use for general washing up etc.
I was just going to put Milton sterilisation tables in the aqua roll and run it through the system for the start of the season.
Is this all that most people do many thanks ------------- Bailey Pegasus Ancona 2016

We use Puriclean, much the same thing but in a powder form. Milton, diluted as per the instructions should be absolutely fine.

Sterilisation tablets only sterilise the water contained in the water barrel so if the barrel itself or the system hasn't been sterilised then it's a pointless exercise basically. What you need to do is sterilise the barrel and water system which Puriclean is ideal as it doesn't contain the harsh bleaching chemical that Milton does which can cause damage to steel components in the hot water tank plus Milton doesn't destroy the Bio-film like Puriclean does. Milton is okay for sterilising plastic components such as baby utensils but not recommended for steel. However, you can read further about water sterilisation in the link below, also click on the tab for their products which explains more about Puriclean.

We use puriclean as directed on the bottle. It leaves everything clean. We also use Puriclean's additive to the water which stops any bacteria breeding in the water. We use the water for drinking etc and have never had any problems.

Another thumbs up for puriclean. I fill the aquaroll, then draw it through the system. Leave for a while then flush through.
I do use a 5 litre bottle for drinking water only in the caravan. ------------- My photos allow you to see what I saw at the time that I took it....No messing.

Aquaroll say this
We recommend that you only use bicarbonate soda. Add four heaped table spoons into an empty Aquaroll. Then fill the Aquaroll full of water. Swill it around then leave for 24 hours. By cleaning your Aquaroll regularly and thoroughly will ensure you will be able to use it for many years to come.

But what about cleaning the vans pipe work. Just use puraclean, job done all round.

Thanks all purchased the puriclean today, so will run it through the system and for a short period and hour to 12 it says and then flush through.
Although we don't use it to drink from still nice to make sure it's cleaned for the start of the season and I will probably do again midway through.
