need some help please new to caravaning we have bought an avondale perle caravan 1993 can some please help what kind of water pump do we need to use to connect it to van

I would have thought that any 12 volt submersible pump would do the trick. Just attach a pipe to it and drop it in your water container. At the other end where it attaches to the caravan you will probably find a connection that provides for water in, and a 12 volt supply to the pump.
On a 1993 caravan the water pump housing is most likely to be a Carver Crystal 2 which you need the corresponding connector with pump. Have a look at the ones in the link below.
My old caravan had been considerably bodged, and looked very untidy with a lump of copper pipe sticking out the side. I decided to smarten it up and fitted one of these.
