Have any members experience of First Call Caravan Buyer.co.uk
We are selling our Bailey Senator Arizona 2008 as we are giving up caravanning. Just out of interest I filled in valuation request forms with a few companies. These people came back with a great cash offer. Cant find any detrimental feedback online. If something sounds too good to be true it usually is.

Just be aware that these caravan buying companies when actually collecting van are looking for reasons around the van where they can lower the offer. Both of my friends who retired from caravanning when they reach 80 finished up selling theirs to small local mobile service engineer who sold vans on a small scale.

This is the usual complaint with vehicle buying websites. A reasonable price is offered online then buyer calls, finds all sorts of faults & offers much lower price.

These companies are buying to sell on and make a profit. As has been said they usually offer a good price over the phone or online, then turn up to see the van or get you to tow it to them (which puts the ball in their court). Then they offer you a lot less due to this and that..

With a private sale you will get more money than they can offer, just pick the right time to sell.
Just don't part with your van until money is cleared and in the Bank..

Thanks. Well aware they may try to knock us down price wise. They are proposing coming to see it where it is in storage and paying us in cash. We are being ultra cautious and are Totally prepared to walk away from their offer. Just can't find any comments good or bad on net about this particular company.

I sold my Mondeo to WBAC.com

£420 valuation then knocked down to £280 because of one missing service stamp. Full main dealer history other than that and 135K on clock.

The buyer was amazed at how clean and good condition it was in. Nothing added on for that though.

Once you've got used to the idea of selling to them and need the room, it's too easy to say yes to a knock down price.

Prices are probably low at the moment but very soon they will start queuing up to buy and prices will rise.

I agree with the other but nothing ventured nothing gained so why not give the company a call quote their offer and just say you know what goes on and to only come if they are not going to waste your time
