Ok in Oct 2014 we bought a Quasar Freelander 6 berth van, ready to go. It was on a site with storage paid so we left it there over winter and had it moved to Poldark Country on Cornwall the following April 2015. Unfortunately we realised we had been very naïve (not experienced caravanners) the floor has been drilled and treated for delamination at some point which in itself Im not concerned about. The main problem we found is that the seal above the toilet cassette had allowed water to seep into the caravan wall and the side wall below this was full of rotting padding and the floor at the very back of the van is soft and rotting. In the short term we have resealed above the toilet cassette and treated the floor at the back with wet rot treatment. Over the winter we have thought long and hard and decided we cannot get down there often enough to justify the storage costs etc and that we should consider selling it. My question is.. is it sellable? its a nice tidy twin axle van but obviously with problems! We paid £5200 for it. I am not one for trying to sell on without being upfront so my question is what would be a fair price? If we were keeping it.. as its on site I would just carry on using it until the floor fell out tbh. Thx in advance

Fair price would be whatever anybody is prepared to pay for it. If you want to be totally honest list it on ebay with all faults detailed & sell to highest bidder.

Or you could sell it on as a 'project sold as seen' or even for spares or a 'doner' van for someone who is doing a self build van conversion to make a motorhome. I very much doubt that you would get anywhere near the price you paid for it, we only got 5k in trade in for our 5yr old Lunar that had no problems other than normal wear and tear, and was perfectly dry and rot free. An auction site is probably the best way to go, but my gut feeling is the max price that you may get for it would be around 2k, going by the price of some 'sold as seen' caravans we have viewed locally with our daughter who was looking to buy.
