Can't help but think someone has missed a trick here. Lunar swept the floor with awards for their transverse island bed / mid full width washroom but on a twin axle.
Sterling Eccles Elite is a a mid full width washroom with a north south fixed end bed on a single axle.
This layout still gives rise to 'mountaineering' for those who sleep on the right of the fixed bed :(
Wonder when some caravan maker will make a mid full width washroom transverse end bed on a single axle??
As well is two words!

Also from the picture, to get to the other side of he bed you go through the bathroom or jump across the bed. There doesn't seem any room to walk around the bottom of the bed.
Not for me.

Exactly. Very odd. Why not just have the washroom at the rear
It's called being different.

The waking up with your head deep into the side of the wardrobes would drive me crazy, l have tried this layout in a friends static caravan and i keep banging my elbows as l move about a lot in my sleep.
I do like the end bathroom island bed layouts, its just a pity that you have to have such a long caravan to achieve this. My ideal caravan would be a 2 berth with this layout and a couple of comfortable fixed recliner chairs in the lounge.

I like that layout its ideal if you have friends away with you or older teens. Nobody has to wander through the bedroom to get to the bathroom.
But again, if they're in the bathroom you can't get out of the bedroom. Go for a fixed island bed with mid bathroom then you can just shut the bedroom door and its private!

Oddly enough this is almost the layout I have except we have a double dinette with a mid washroom, the loss of width in the center drives me potty.
