Hi does anyone keep the red kill switch in the battery box?
Just thought its another thing to lose, so thought about tieing it to a bit of string and to something in the battery box.

Yes, tied on with a bit ribbon that came with the switch when I fitted it.
Spare kept on one of the key rings.

Mine is tied with an old lace to the battery retaining strap at the buckle end, been there eight years now.

Same here - I don't have a spare! Mine at the moment is just loose in the box... must secure it in some way before I do lose it! Having said that, it's been there and gone nowhere for the past two years.

Well mine has three positions, first you can remove it, second it's locked in and third it's locked in and in circuit. I leave it in the second position.

I leave mine in there, but have a spare one on my spare key set just in case. They are cheap enough and it would be such a pain if it was the only one and I lost it or it broke. I do like the idea of the 3 position one.

The bloke fitted mine so i cant use my 240 lead whilst the key is plugged in, as people have been using the motor movers whilst plugged into the mains.

They're cheap - get a spare. We keep it on the same keyring as all the other keys, but via a quick release mini carabiner.

I bought a switch with a knob instead of a key
It is a selector switch so I can switch the battery off/mover/caravan/both

Just bought replacement on Ebay. The deal was just under £3 for two delivered. Most others were the same price for one.
Have only had one key for a couple of years but good idea to have a spare.
