I'm one of those lucky people who is a warden during the summer, but who has 5 months off and wants to go travelling through France to Spain from November to March.
I cannot find a sensibly priced breakdown cover that will cover me (for my car and caravan) for more than 91 days. Ive been quoted over £400 through both clubs, but hope that I can do better, and for the period I want.
Anyone out there got any advice or experience to pass on please will be much appreciated.

Are you over 50? Saga Breakdown covers all yr for £121pa. They will recover car & caravan together. I have spoken to them & they assure me they will also attend for caravan breakdown, ie puncture etc.
What you have to remember is that the insurance offered by both the Clubs covers both breakdown and personal insurance and I would have thought £400 for so long away is not bad value.
You might also like to try Britannia Rescue as I am sure they offer up to 180 Days in any one trip and include a Caravan but you have to tell them you are taking one with you.
