We bought one back in 2013. We got a full Kampa Carnival awning thrown in and £1,000 off the price as it was the last one they had and had been used for 'display'
Great caravans, better now they have changed to a twin bunk, ours was triple and the kids didn't like the lack of headroom.
We had it for 18 months and sold it for £600 less than we bought it for so very happy.
We bought ours as soon as the new models came out in 2014 and didn't get anything off, or anything thrown in...paid about £15.5k for it, think that included the Kampa awning though...can't be sure.
We're looking at the new one, they reckon they're no getting anymore of this model as the shape had changed slightly.
Wanted to knock off £500 for ex display. I don't think that's good enough, as I told the salesman.

no me neither, so I walked away then as was about to leave said he would do the new one for same price as ex demo. still not good enough,as that to me makes the demo £1K less.

If you are able to get a deal on a 2015 Sportline, it is still based on the 2014 Altea, so is not affected by the weight increase.

We got £1,500 off our Bailey as it was display and last one. Which we were happy with as I think that's a years depreciation approximately.
The only other bits I managed to get were a free propane gas bottle, and a curtain rail put round the bunk beds as there is no curtain on the model (which seemed silly so we have one now). Oh and £200 off the motor movers :-)
Also don't know if you have been but Michael Jordan caravans in gomshall, Dorking, Surrey have display weekend this weekend it might be worth a Sunday visit as they have a good stock and range although when we got ours they only had 2 fixed bunks left so maybe call them first if you potentially pop over there.
AS you know some big Adria fans on here including us. i would be careful and check over any ex display model carefully. If they have been out for a while they will have been potentially "well used" by all and sundry possibly with large numbers of people inside.
like you I would want far more off a display model than the deal you were offered.
Might be worth checking and printing off prices online if better deals out there and using that as bargaining point?

Thanks all, they wouldn't budge so neither am I.
Swift challenger 586 here I come, when I sell my pathfinder anyway.
Good luck to you
Have you (or your kids more importantly) tried the rear bunks on the Swift. I seem to remember them being particularly narrow although plenty long enough enough? Might not be an issue but worth checking. Nice van though
