Hi there. I've stepped back into the plug hole in my shower tray and i've now got a 3" crack. I've enquired about a new shower tray being fitted = £350 but they can't do it (if at all) until next year due to work load (only doing own stock work at present), had a quote for a Speedcoat repair = £350-£400 or do I just fill the gap and repair it with Sikaflex 512? I've got a Bailey Senator Wyoming series 6, the shower tray is seperate and not joined to the toilet and I've brought a 'hair catcher' cover to go over the plug hole so I don't get my heel caught in it again!! I'm just paranoid about water escaping and causing damp. Thanks.
Sorry ignoring obvious jokes about a 3" crack in your shower ....... I would go with a speedcoat repair. Water has a way of finding a way through in smallest of gaps so would want a proper repair either new tray or speedcoat personally
Drill a hole at the end of the crack to stop spreading then you could repair the crack with this stuff from ebay or Amazon...Click or..buy a new tray and fit it.
