Got a caravan a few months ago and the motor mover was working perfectly. After having a service I go to take the van out for a weeks holiday and the remote for it would not work. It's a power touch remote white and red on the front with 2 buttons to press which turns the handset on. After finding out it would not work I phone a few places to ask advice. Brought a reconditioned one for £80. Get to the van and now the remote is working but not syncing to the black box. Went through the manual. Press the button on black box and then turn on remote and press any movement button. Done that and red light still flashing. Green light stays on. Tried connecting the remote with a jack to jack. And still not working. I'm hoping it's something simple that I might have missed as I don't have the money for new mover at Moment. Phone a few places again and they say I might need a new board. Can anyone help. I'm not the best at getting van out of storage which is why i really need the mover.

Phone the company that make the motormover and ask their advice. Just in case you haven't tried it, try changing the batteries in the remote. At the worst you might need to have the company send someone out to fix the problem, which will be expensive, but certainly not as much as a new motormover.

Tried new battery in the remote and still no joy. Caravan battery is running at 13.8 and still nothing.

About 6 months ago i had problem with my Powrtouch mover.Battery reading 13.6 volts but when i put my meter on the control box input terminals i only had 6 volts.Any under about 11 volts they will not work.I found the problem was the mover isolator, not making good contact. I replaced it and all then worked.

Ok you are talking to a rookie here. What's the isolation switch? And is it easy to replace?

Ah right. Come to mention it. That switch is really hard to turn. I shall give it a go when I next go to van. Thank you.
