I have a sterling quartz caravan (2012) with a Reich caravan motor mover on it but when I use the motor mover it only works for about one min or so, the battery is less than a year old and is 110ah which is about as big as I can get but the useage time seems realy. What are your views does this sound low or about right or any suggestions on how to extend the usable life would be appreciated.. Many Thanks
A motor mover should run for several hours on a fully charged 110ah battery. They generally draw up to 20 amps when running. Sounds like a dodgy battery.
Check the battery voltage whilst the mover is working.
Get similar posts on some other forums, people test the battery off load and get fairly high voltages. When a load is applied the voltage can plummet if the battery is not fully charged or weak from use, abuse or old age.
I have run one on a jump pack with a sub 20Ah battery and it had no issues.
