I have a Coachman VIP with the Master Switch above the door. It keeps turning off, thereby cutting of the control panel. Any ideas why?

I presume the Master Switch is some kind of circuit breaker. If so, the best way to find out what is causing the problem would be to turn everything off individually, reset the Master Switch to "on", then go round turning things on one at a time. When you get to the one that causes the Master to trip, you have found the problem.

My Coachman has the master switch above the door, left side of the panel. It's not a circuit breaker though. Fuses breakers and RCD etc are under the front bunk, fridge side of van.

Hi if there is a fault on 12v light, waterpump, charger circuit this can cause it to trip as can a faulty battery so check blade fuses, test battery, and switch off all 12v items reset master switch then try things one at a time. You could even try removing blade fuses and replacing them one at a time to see which circuit causes it to cut out. Also try without mains 240v power on in case battery charger is causing it.

Check your Battery voltage as if overcharged the panel safety device cuts it out. If you have a Solar Panel a faulty voltage regulator can cause this to happen.
