I can sympathise with you, being a fellow AK495 owner! It is pretty much impossible to get parts for our vans.
My cutlery drawer became very loose, but I was able to repair it and reinforce it (I had too much cutlery in it and left it unlocked on a journey, which caused the damage)!!
If the fascia can be saved, you may be able to get a drawer mechanism that you can adapt. Failing that, a good joiner could perhaps build you a new drawer using the fascia?
In the 7 years I have had my van, I have never seen Geist parts on a breakers website. (I have been looking for a couple of bits for a while).
Last resort - email LMC in Germany (the manufacturer). You never know.
Hope that helps.
