I know this is something very basic but what exactly does the white plug and lead from the car to the van do
does it charge the battery ?
supply the fridge ?

Just in case you hit problems whilst away on the road/on site, it is advisable that you familiarise your self with what does what. Much of the info can be had from the caravan handbook, from tech advice in Club handbooks, and from Googling on the Internet.
Oh, and lots of experienced tuggers on this forum are always ready to provide some help.
