Hi Guys
My new Lunar comes without an awning rail breakout!!!
Just home from first service where I had anticipated that this would be included for me.
Too much hassle to take the caravan back.....so how about I do this myself?
Guess I will need a special tool!
Any advice would be appreciated.

Do you mean there is no way you can slide the awning in halfway up the rail ?

If it's new take it to dealer. They have a cranking tool to open the rail. It costs over £100 to buy.

Of course it can be done with vice grips and duster but don't spoil the look of a new van.

Hi Jesscar. The rail on the Lunar awning appears to be painted white. I am guessing the flat steel would leave significant markings. Tony
