We have just bought a 2006 caravan from a private seller. In amongst all the extras was a CRiS Xtra kit without instructions that hadn't been fitted. I asked CRiS about it when I registered my details with them. She explained what was in the kit & where to hide the tag. The thing is I'm not sure what to do with the micro dots. Where do I apply them & will they be removed by cleaning? Where's the best place for the stickers?
I must admit I probably wouldn't have bothered buying it myself, but as it came with the 'van I thought I'd use it.
Stickers on the windows or door, it will hopefully put someone off from stealing it if they want it for parts.
The tag can be hidden down the back of a cupboard or anywhere your not likely to find it if looking.
Maybe a good idea to keep it away from any source that may shield it like fridges and fire and fluorescent lighting.
Not convinced myself. Will the police really go all over the van checking for the microdots?
I have this, I put all the stickers in every cupboard But be aware once applied they are impossible to remove
The tag needs to be somewhere where it can be read from the outside gas locker? rear light? and not in a cupboard
