I'm new at caravanning, I recently bought an ABI marauder 450 CT 1990 model. ( actually this will be for my brother who is a beekeeper, but we will use it for a week before delivering it to him ).
I read through the user manual, but I was unable to figure out :
- where is the waste water connector
- what is needed to connect to it ( haven't got waste water stuff with it).
In the user manual there is a long section about the casette toilet but this one is an older model, has a mobile toilet not a built in one.
Please enlighten me with your wisdom, time is short to find this out :D
Waste water pipe will just be a short length of flexible pipe to go from the outlets to the waste container, any caravan dealer will have this. Many vans in 1990 did not have a built in cassette toilet so use of a porta potty was the way forward. Essentially the only difference is one of convenience, though the built in cassette does also make better use of space.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
Look around the outside of the van at the bottom edge you should see some small square grey covers, lift the cover and the outlet is there. They are usually towards the rear and somewhere near the bathroom. Or pour some water down each sink and look for where the water escapes, you might find you gave two outlets sometimes together and sometimes not. Looking under the van you should be able to see the waste water pipes.
