On a recent visit to Scotland I took a wrong turn and ended up on a forest track,no room to turn so kept going looking for somewhere to turn, after 2 miles there there was room,i reversed then as I started off there was a loud bang, a flat stone or something had jammed the mover onto the tyre, I couldn't release it,no phone signal,we saw a cottage some distance away through trees,we went to ask to use there phone,no need the lady said my husband is really good at anything like that, he tried his best for a hour,it was no good, I said ill phone Mayday, the lady said if they cant come you can stop here, ill get a bottle of wine, we will have a good night, I was a little disappointed when a young man in a breakdown truck arrived 20 mins later, he looked at it and said ill get a spanner,it took him 3 mins to release it, a silly mistake made a million times better by two really nice people
I thought it was a bit further but the satnav said turn right, there was a sign for the site pointing right, the next day I could see the arrow on the sign was just stuck on and was flapping about in the breeze and at times looked as if it was pointing right, the site then stuck in on properly.
