Hi all, I'm thinking of making new curtains for the caravan. Not sure whether to make full curtains or make smaller ones that don't close. We always just close the blinds, and never the curtains!
Do you use the curtains or blinds?

We always use the blackout blinds when on site but in storage we always close the curtains. We do this because on hot summer days the sun will shine and penetrate onto the silver screen then reflect back onto the acrylic windows so curtains helps prevent delamination.

Thats what has happened to my front nearside window, the blind was down and with the sun has swollen the window but it hasn't come apart.

I have just made new ones for our caravan. We always use the blinds but I have made the curtains just big enough to close them if necessary. I bought a large pair of lined curtains and cut them to the relevant sizes. It was a bargain £35 for a pair that would give enough material, but when I got to the checkout they had been reduced to £5. Very pleased with the result as makes the caravan a lot brighter.
I use both . Blinds half way up in store then close curtains . But on site I use blinds . Yet by my bed I use curtains . When it's hot I can leave my window open a little or fly screen down . I do t like the roof lights open at night in case something falls in , lol
