Can anyone help.... The sliding trap door will only open half way when in place, opens ok when taken out.

Is the knob in the toilet compartment in the closed position, and also the cassette blade fully closed when pushing in the holding tank?

Take cassette out and look up under pan and you will see a white plastic quadrant with gear teeth.This will have jumped teeth as they are now flimsy.Get a small screwdriver and lever downwards and move teeth until back in the correct position.When back and working ok,is put a spot of red paint on corresponding teeth so if it happens again you will know exactly where to put it back to.
