Hi All,

Took our new (to us) van out for the first time the weekend just gone.  Had a great time and it really lived up to our expectations and we can't wait to get on the road again!

In the main everything went well although I have a couple of things I need to repair/fix before our next trip.

One of the plastic window stay screw locks (plastic housing) has broken.  I've had a quick search around the net and can find a replacement for ~£8 and looks simple to replace.  Any recommendations of breakers or websites to replace this?

The water pump (Whale) is dribbling when used down the side of the caravan.  The O rings on the caravan inlet look a little worn so I'm going to replace these and have also read about the issue with the hose stretching and the cutting back fix, so if the O rings dont resolve will give that a try.  Again any recommendations for where to buy the O rings?  £8 seems a little steep for a couple of rubber rings!

Also need a replacement cap for the aqua roll.  Best place to buy replacement?

Lastly,  I have a Bradcot awning with annexe although the annexe poles aren't complete.  Does anybody have either an annexe with poles or annexe pole set for sale?

Thanks in advance.  Everything else went without a hitch so extremely pleased and loving our new found caravanning freedom! 17

Hi; glad most things went OK for you on your first trip with the new van, as regards spares fro the water system and the Aqua Roll cap, try Go Outdoors if you have a store near you. Hope you find some poles and you are able to fix the minor leaks.

Many thanks all for your suggestions.  I've ordered all the little niggly bits and also called Bradcot about the awning poles.

£52 for a full set of steel replacement poles or £56 for alloy + £10 p&p.  Ordered the alloy for such a small price difference and the price seems reasonable and better than I was expecting.

Now to find a site for the upcoming bank holiday weekend with availability so we can get out again!!...

Boxes of assorted O rings can be bought from Aldi.
Try Lowdhams of Huddersfield for the Awning poles, as they had a bin full of them last year. Probably worth a call to them, just to check.
